2010 John Pappajohn Iowa Business Plan Competition

Yes, this business plan contest is being sponsored by the famous pizza mogul. The contest is "designed to stimulate entrepreneurial activity and greater awareness of the resources available to grow entrepreneurs in Iowa."

All finalists must participate in or attend the Iowa Venture Capital and Entrepreneurs Conference and are required to make a brief 15 minute presentation about their companies during the conference.

Contest Entry Period: March 1 and April 30, 2010

Prizes:

• (1) $25,000 Grand Prize. One Grand Prize Winner will receive $25,000 and, in addition, recognition of your work on the Web site for the competition.

• (1) $15,000 Second Prize.
...
• (1) $10,000 Third Prize.

All winners must be present at the Iowa Venture Capital and Entrepreneurs Conference to be held October 5, 2010 to accept awards.
