If you have not seen of the latest video "gone viral" called "Pants on the Ground," you probably do not have a computer - or children.
"General" Larry Platt, an Atlanta, Georgia civil rights veteran, auditioned for the "American Idol" last week...His song, cut short by Simon, included catchy lines like, "looking like a fool with your pants on the ground," "gold in your mouth," and "hat turned sideways" has spawned everything from homemade videos to a video contest.
Will the General reap any financial benefits from his new status? Probably not much. But it brings up two important questions about branding your business through viral video marketing: What makes a video go viral and how can you get your own business video to go viral?
