"General" Larry Platt, an Atlanta, Georgia civil rights veteran, auditioned for the "American Idol" last week...His song, cut short by Simon, included catchy lines like, "looking like a fool with your pants on the ground," "gold in your mouth," and "hat turned sideways" has spawned everything from homemade videos to a video contest.
